She also has a Master of Science in Numerical Analysis and Computation from Liverpool University in England. She held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Doelz Networks from 1982 until 1985. At this time, she was engaged in the preliminary development of fast packet technologies. After this time, she worked as an independent consultant for the next four years while also designing and teaching several courses at the University of California in Irvine as well as at the Cal Poly Pomona. Her main course load focused on electrical engineering and computer science.<\/p>\n
